● The amount of dirt in the air cleaner de-

pends on the amount of dust in the air and

the size of the air cleaner used. If a high

level of dust is anticipated, a cyclone-type

precleaner can be fitted to the air cleaner.

● Cleaning intervals will have to be deter-

mined from case to case.

● If dry type air filters are used, cleaning

should only be carried out according to the

service indicator or service switch.

● Air cleaner servicing is needed when

- Service indicator

the red signal 1 is fully visible when the

engine is off.

- Service switch

the yellow pilot light comes on when the

engine is running.

● After carrying out service work, reset the

signal by pressing the button on the serv-

ice indicator. The service indicator is now

ready for operation again.
